Download the DMG
Click the button above. Your browser saves the file automatically to your Downloads folder.

Open the DMG
Double-click the downloaded file. A Finder window opens showing the MarkEdit app.

Drag to Applications
Drag MarkEdit.app into your Applications folder. If an older version exists, replace it.
⚠ Important: MarkEdit must run from /Applications, not from within the DMG — otherwise auto-update won’t work.

Eject DMG and launch
Eject the DMG volume from the Finder sidebar. Launch MarkEdit from /Applications or via Spotlight.
